This heavy duty tire carrier mount fits 87-95 Wrangler YJ, 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ, and 04-06 Wrangler LJ. If you have installed larger tires on your rig then a matching spare tire is a must. The problem comes when you try to bolt that new monster tire/wheel combo on your factory spare tire mount. The HD Tire Carrier Mount is constructed of heavy thick steel plate and mounts directly to the tailgate. The tire is relocated two inches out from the old mount for larger tire clearance (Maximum tire diameter = 35 inch). OEM Customers: If you need more dimensions or data, please contact us!
