We are pleased to announce that our ESA312 ball joint is now available. This aluminum ball joint has a 5/16-24 ball stud and 5/16-24 housing, and is fitted with a rubber boot. We are pleased to announce that the first of our RB series high misalignment rod end boots is now available, the RB-10 for 5/8" male rod ends (link: http://www.midwestcontrol.com/part.php?id=10710). This boot will fit male rod ends that have high misalignment inserts in them (such as the HMBZC-10-8 with the MXM-10 rod end), or rod ends with the high misalignment 'trunion' style ball such as our MXTT-10 (link: http://www.midwestcontrol.com/part.php?id=4063).

As we approach the end of 2010, we're wondering what 2011 holds for the various industries we serve. Our 2010 (ending Dec 31st) sales will close out with a 45% increase over 2009. However, between the currency market uncertainties, and state, federal and national debts, we're sensing mixed forecasts from our customer base. Our largest customers seem to be the most optimistic. Our smaller customers tend to be far less optimistic depending on their region and their marketplace. We're planning on growth in 2011, but more from increased market share than from customers increasing schedules. We still see too many of our customers with activity levels 30%, 40% and even 60% down from 2008 on a part-to-part comparison. Even so, we continue to operate with no debt, monthly profits, and heavy investment in energy savings, new inventory, new equipment, and new product lines. We are pleased to announce the introduction of our DWTF-5S (M5 x 0.80 RH) and DWTF-6S (M6 x 1.00 RH) spherical rod end bearings (heim joints/rose joints). These rod ends feature a teflon bearing race with the additional feature of a rod end stud staked by us into the ball i.d. Increases misalignment and reduces the need for a mounting bolt (ie: it's integral).

We are pleased to announce that our HSR-10 and HSRL-10 rod ends are now available. These 5/8 x 5/8 rod ends feature a 4340 chrome moly steel and an ultimate radial static load rating of 23,950 lbs. These are our strongest 5/8" rod ends yet!
